Firm, spicy, powerful entry yields off dry flavours of dried fruits, sweet cereals and honey with a delicate smokiness. A drying, woody, spicy attack then kicks in delivering terrific palate length and perfectly counterpointing the sweeter notes. Excellent balance. Spicy, warming mouthfeel. Very long aftertaste of dried apricot, spice and cereals turning dry sherry-like with a nutty fade.
