The wonderful Bruichladdich distillery on the Isle of Islay was founded back in 1881. In the latter half of the 1900s, the distillery was closed and reopened a number of times. The doors are firmly open these days, with some phenomenal and inventive whiskies coming out of the maturation halls. Many releases are notable for their contemporary packaging and weird and wonderful names. Some of these are referenced on the label of Boutiquey's cask strength Bruichladdich bottling. One of only 242 bottles from Batch #13.
