In what is becoming something of a regular annual offering from Talisker for the Diageo Special Release's comes another 8 Year Old at Cask Strength. Following on from the success of their brilliant 2018 release, this has polarized opinion. Some feel it is below par and too young, and yet others such as renowned blogger Serge Valentin call this "...a diamond distillate, this is the perfect cut, a kind of grail that only time could further polish." Serge rates this a 91 which for him is a high bar indeed.
