American Oak Old & Rare Single Cask HH0031 was filled on the 29th of October, 1999 and decanted on the 3rd of July, 2020, for a maturation of 20 years, 8 months. To date this is the oldest Single Cask ever released by the distillery. After such a long maturation, this 200-litre American oak ex-bourbon cask yielded only 118 bottles at 45% abv. As one of the oldest Australian single malt whiskies ever released, this bottling is a true piece of whisky history and has incredible texture, complexity and length of palate.
Each bottle comes in a unique, hand made, solid oak presentation box, and includes a letter of authenticity signed by our Head Distiller.
"All of the classic hallmarks of this era of Sullivans are here: tropical, earthy, supremely textural… all with a floral touch. Delightful for both the palate and the mind."
- Heather Tillott, Head Distiller
