Now in 700ml format, Starward Tawny Release #2 is a single malt which has spent its entire maturation in tawny fortified octaves - both fresh tawny casks from the Yalumba winery as well as charred tawny casks from SA Cooperage - the distillers threw in some puncheon and hogshead barrels for fun, which allowed the vibrant tropical notes of Starward's spirit to come forward.
