As part of Lagavulin’s 200th anniversary celebrations, the distillery have decided to recreate an 8 year old! It’s bottled at 48% ABV and was matured in refill European and American oak casks. Young Islay whiskies show a boldness that older peated whisky often lacks and this young Lagavulin is no exception to that rule. Not be confused with the newer core range 8 Years Old Lagavulin, this is the 200th Anniversary bottling.
