Older bottling from 2015, which makes this among some of the first bottlings of the now famed Vinho Barrique, prior to their shock win at the 2016 World Whisky Awards for World's Best Single Malt Whisky.  Fully matured in American oak wine barrels that have been allowed to season in the open air for 2 years before being used to mature both red and white wine. They are then re-charred to bring out caramel and vanilla notes with a delicate background of complex fruitiness. Please note the leatherette box condition as shown.
