Few Countries have such a rich distilling history, or have gone through such ups and downs than Bourbon Whiskey. In recent years many have been drawn to American Whiskey and Bourbon for the incredible history, rich variety of the Whiskey or Bourbon and the often higher proof alcohol, not to mention of course the quality and more recently the investment opportunites.  
 
With the rise and popularity of new craft distilleries we are seeing some excitng new distilleries that are no longer bound to the traditional methods in quite the same way who are trialling creative uses of casks, different types of mash-bills and ageing techniques. In order to do this though, these cannot be called Bourbon due to the strict rules around what classifies a Bourbon (hence terms such as American Single Malt Whiskey, Rye Whiskey and many more). This tasting set consists of 5 30ml carefully curated bottles compiled by our whisky experts that showcase the old and new in American Whiskey and Bourbon.
