Featured on the label of their very first Bourbon cask release is a banana, indicative of the flavour profile here which is all about the influence of high-quality American oak. Said Duckett, “Design or good luck. We have just created a whisky characterised by sweet bourbon bananas. It was allowed to syrup up and we lost around 12% in volume... It’s extraordinary and is something completely different from our usual fare. You can add your own water. DO NOT BUY THIS WHISKY, if you do not like bourbon, vanilla, caramel, or bananas. Sherry-heads should not apply. You have been warned”. Spirit was sourced from Redlands and the barrel emptied in September 2020. 234 bottles made it to market.
