A follow up release from Heartwood, once again created from rye whiskies sourced from the Tassie rye pioneer, Peter Bignell at Belgrove Distillery. Matured for around four months longer than the first release, Tim Duckett comments, “it's had an extra sherry barrel boost that is completely different to the first release. It had a tortured past, being decanted four times, leaks, tannins and also not knowing how to manage a rye whisky.” Muscat and sherry cask matured. 196 bottled produced.
