Tim Duckett, Lyn Lark and Tasmania's erratic weather collaborated to create another Heartwood cracker: Blended in casks LD965 and LD 775 at a ratio of 85% and 15% respectively, maturation was via a Rutherglen Tokay cask, a Hunter Valley Apera cask and a Spanish Oloroso cask. Released in early 2021 and instantly snapped up directly from the distillery, allocations that made it to retail were next to nothing. The colour is spectacular. One for the lucky few. 166 bottles produced.
