Foursquare Shibboleth is a Single Blended Rum (Blend of Traditional Column and Pot Still) aged for 16 years in ex-bourbon casks. The 16th release (Mark XVI) for the Exceptional Cask series, reveals notes of oak, marzipan, vanilla, nuts, light orange, nutmeg. There is enough sweet deliciousness to combat the considerable wood spice. The finish is medium length, oaky and nutty, with some chocolate and faint coffee.
