This limited edition (primarily Distillery Exclusive and extremely rare to see in Australia) Ardbeg Kildalton 2014 is matured in ex-bourbon and ex-Sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV with no chill-filtration. Fun fact! If the name Ardbeg Kildalton is familiar to you, it’s because there have been previous Ardbeg whiskies with that name – a 1980 vintage and a 1981 vintage (they’re a bit rare these days, though…). The name comes from the 1,200 year old Kildalton Cross on Islay.
 
This expression was released to raise money for The North Highland Initiative, a charity set up to support fragile communities in the North Highlands. Funds raised by the release will help build a new community hub in Port Ellen.
