Ardbeg Distillery was officially founded in 1815, but was operating 'unofficially' for several years prior.  Lying on the Southern Islay Coastline, the whisky matures slowly, but doesn't give much to the 'angels'. Closed for a significant period in the 1980's Ardbeg became something of a cult distillery over the years due to the fantastic whisky and the story of it's rebirth. Experience five different Ardbeg releases in this whisky tasting set. 46% - 54.2% ABV. Region - Islay, Scotland.
