Each Vintage showcases the ultimate whisky from a particular year, and this one of a kind 2009 Vintage has been fully matured in first-fill European and American oak casks.With all the casks used in this release being put down in 2009 and being aged on-site in classic old-style dunnage warehouses in the Highlands of Scotland, anCnoc 2009 Vintage delivers the best Knockdhu has to offer. Packed full of delicate spices from both European and American oak, with the Sherry influence of the first-fill European oak casks is on full display combining marshmallow, toffee and chocolate with fruits, vanilla and delicate oak spices, before being wrapped up in a smooth and delicate finish of honey and citrus.
